509MW! HT Modules Driving Green Development in Inner Mongolia

  • Recently, HY SOLAR successfully delivered the First Batch of high-efficiency HT modules for the 1 GW power Station project at the Northeast Ulan Buh Desert New Energy Base of Pilot Project Phase II in Inner Mongolia, contributeing to local green and sustainable development efforts.

    The 1 GW PV power Station project is located in the Ulan Buh Desert within Dengkou County, Bayannur City, at an altitude between 1028 and 1054 meters. The area is characterized by a dry and arid climate with limited rainfall, offering unique solar resources. The project adopts a combined model of power generation on modules, planting between modules, and sand fixation under modules, promoting efficient use of clean energy. This approach achieves an organic combination of PV power generation and ecological management.


    The project is expected to be grid-connected by the end of December 2024. Once operational, it is estimated to generate approximately 1.67 billion kWh annually, saving about 548,800 tons of standard coal per year. This will also reduce emissions of various air pollutants, including approximately 1.4038 million tons of carbon dioxide annually. This will effectively optimize the local energy structure, alleviate electricity supply-demand tensions, and make a significant contribution to national "dual carbon" strategic goals.

    HY SOLAR has supplied a total of 509MW of HT modules, with the first batch successfully delivered. The HY SOLAR HT 182-cell 72pcs modules, based on efficient N-type TOPCon cell technology, incorporate SMBB, half-cell, non-destructive cutting, and high-density encapsulation technologies. These modules feature high conversion efficiency, high bifacial ratio, low degradation, low temperature coefficient, and excellent performance under weak light conditions, making them suitable for various applications, including large ground power stations and commercial and industrial rooftops. HY SOLAR modules have passed a series of stringent reliability and durability tests and practical operation verifications. Their excellent performance can comfortably handle extreme environments such as high salinity and alkalinity areas and wind and sand conditions in large-scale projects, providing more power generation benefits for desert and Gobi scenarios. To date, HY SOLAR's high-efficiency HT modules have been deployed in numerous ground power stations domestically and internationally, creating benchmark PV projects in multi-dimensional scenarios such as agricultural and pastoral solar integration.
