Recently, HY SOLAR’s HT series high-efficiency modules were successfully deployed at the rooftop distributed PV project of Xizi (Zhuji) New Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. As a key part of Xizi Clean Energy’s “Zero-Carbon Manufacturing Base”, the project leverages green energy to empower intelligent manufacturing, injecting strong momentum into the development of a low-carbon, sustainable production system.
5.19MW C&I Rooftop Solar Power Project
Driving Decarbonization with Practical Action
Xizi Clean Energy has long been a pioneer in China’s energy conservation and emission reduction sector. Since the establishment of China’s first national-level waste heat boiler research institute in 1978, the company has remained committed to advancing industrial green development. Under the “30·60” dual carbon goals, Xizi continues to accelerate the deployment of zero-carbon factories and actively promotes the construction of “zero-carbon parks.” This project at the Zhuji manufacturing base is a vivid example of its green transformation in action.
Tailored for Industrial Energy Needs with High-Efficiency Modules
For this project, HY SOLAR supplied its HT Series 182/72 bifacial modules, equipped with advanced N-type TOPCon technology. These modules offer a maximum conversion efficiency of 23.6% and a bifaciality rate of up to 80%. The modules integrate several key features—including SMBB (Super Multi-Busbar), half-cell design, and non-destructive cutting—to minimize internal current loss and significantly reduce the risk of microcracks, ensuring excellent reliability and power generation performance.
The modules are certified by both China Quality Certification Center (CQC) and TÜV Rheinland, providing robust assurance for long-term system stability. During project implementation, HY SOLAR also customized cable lengths for the junction boxes based on onsite requirements, further enhancing installation flexibility and system compatibility.
Stable Operation with Ongoing Green Benefits
The project has now been successfully connected to the grid, with a total installed capacity of 5.19MW. Operated under a “self-consumption with excess power fed to the grid” model, the system is expected to generate approximately 5.5 million kWh of electricity annually, saving around 1,804 tons of standard coal and reducing CO₂ emissions by about 5,480 tons per year. This provides a solid foundation for the factory’s green energy use and the development of a zero-carbon industrial park.
Now in stable operation, the PV system has become a core renewable energy asset for the Zhuji base—substantially lowering energy costs and carbon intensity, while increasing the factory’s proportion of clean energy usage. As a vital part of the “zero-carbon manufacturing base,” the project marks a milestone in Xizi Clean Energy’s transition from zero-carbon factories to zero-carbon industrial parks. It also offers a replicable and scalable path for regional green transformation.
According to data, the industrial sector accounts for nearly 70% of China’s total carbon emissions, making green factories a vital platform for achieving national carbon neutrality goals. Moving forward, HY SOLAR will continue to provide high-efficiency products and professional services to help more industrial users accelerate their energy transitions and carbon reduction efforts. By deepening the integration of photovoltaics and manufacturing, we aim to contribute to the creation of a cleaner, more efficient, and sustainable green industrial ecosystem.
